Device Vitality PRO
Effective Date: 3 September 2026 | Last Updated: 3 September 2026
INTERNET permission. It is technically incapable of sending your data anywhere.
This Privacy Policy explains how Device Vitality PRO (the "App",
package online.klockapp.devicevitality.pro) handles information. The App is a premium,
paid Android hardware-monitoring and diagnostics utility published by Klock ("we", "our", or "us").
The App is built on a strict privacy-first, zero-data-collection philosophy. Everything it does happens locally on your device. By installing and using the App you agree to this Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
The single most important fact about this App is that it does not hold the Android
INTERNET permission. The permission is explicitly removed from the App's manifest.
Every metric the App displays — from your Vitality Score to CPU temperature, RAM usage, battery health, and storage breakdown — is read from your device's own operating-system and hardware interfaces, calculated on the device, shown to you in real time, and then discarded from memory. None of it leaves your phone or tablet.
The App does not collect, request, or process any of the following:
We do not build a profile of you, and we have no ability to identify you as an individual.
To display hardware and system diagnostics, the App reads certain information from the operating system. All of this is processed only in memory, on your device, to render the screens you are looking at. It is never transmitted (there is no internet permission) and is not written to any persistent log that we can access.
Some capabilities rely on Android permissions. The table below lists each permission the App may use, why it is needed, and how the data is handled. Permissions marked opt-in are never requested at launch — the App works without them, and you choose whether to grant them.
| Permission | Why it is used | How data is handled |
|---|---|---|
Usage AccessPACKAGE_USAGE_STATS(opt-in, special access) |
Powers the "Vampire Apps" background-drain ranking, per-app data-usage figures, and screen-time stats. | Granted manually by you in system Settings. Read live and shown in the App only. Never stored off-device or transmitted. |
Query installed appsQUERY_ALL_PACKAGES |
Attributes resource usage (data, storage, background RAM) back to the specific app responsible, and shows app names/icons. | Used only in-memory to label on-device screens. Never stored, logged off-device, or transmitted. |
NotificationsPOST_NOTIFICATIONS |
Shows local "Smart Alert" and threshold notifications (e.g. high RAM or severe thermal load). | Notifications are generated and shown locally on your device only. |
Foreground servicesFOREGROUND_SERVICE, FOREGROUND_SERVICE_SPECIAL_USE |
Keeps the optional live network-speed indicator and the optional real-time health monitor running while enabled. | Started only when you turn the feature on; stops when you turn it off. All sampling stays on-device. |
Free up memoryKILL_BACKGROUND_PROCESSES |
Lets the RAM screen close background processes to reclaim memory. | Acts locally on your device on your request; no data is collected. |
Media sizesREAD_MEDIA_IMAGES / VIDEO / AUDIO(opt-in) |
Optional storage "media breakdown" showing how much space Images / Videos / Audio occupy. | Only aggregate sizes are computed on-device. The App does not open, read the contents of, copy, or transmit your media. |
Re-arm after rebootRECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED |
Restores the live speed meter after a restart if you had enabled it. | Local device event only; no data is collected. |
Sensor readings (accelerometer, gyroscope, light, magnetometer) used by the "Sensor Playground" require no dangerous permissions and are rendered live on-screen only.
The App stores a small amount of data locally on your device so it can remember your preferences and show recent trends. This may include:
This data lives only in the App's private storage on your device. It is removed when you uninstall the App. We have no access to it.
The App permits Android's standard backup mechanism. This means Android may include the App's local settings in your own device backup to your personal Google account, if you have device backup enabled. This is a system feature under your control, the backup goes to your account (not to us), and it is managed entirely by Android and Google — we neither operate it nor receive anything from it. You can disable it in your device's backup settings.
Device Vitality PRO is a paid app with no advertising. It contains no ad networks (including no Google AdMob), no analytics, no social-media SDKs, and no crash-reporting or tracking libraries. No third party receives any data from the App.
The App is sold as a one-time purchase through the Google Play Store. Your payment is handled entirely by Google under Google's Privacy Policy. We do not receive, see, or store your payment card details or billing information.
Device Vitality PRO is a technical utility intended for a general audience and is not directed to children. Because the App collects no personal information from anyone, it collects none from children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under the age of 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction).
Since we hold no personal data about you, there is nothing on our side to access, correct, export, or delete. This also means data-subject requests under laws such as the GDPR and CCPA/CPRA are satisfied by design — we have no data to act upon.
Because the App collects no personal data and cannot transmit anything off your device, the risk surface for your personal information is minimal by design. On-device data resides in the App's private, sandboxed storage protected by the Android operating system. We follow industry-standard secure-development practices.
We may update this Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the App or for legal and operational reasons. When we do, we will revise the "Last Updated" date above and, where appropriate, note it in the App's release notes. Continued use of the App after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
